Hi, Iβm Prasenjit Choudhury β a photographer and filmmaker deeply inspired by the untamed beauty of nature and the stories hidden within it.
My journey began in the quiet plateaus of my childhood, where I spent countless evenings watching sunsets fade into starry skies. Those moments shaped my curiosity, drawing me closer to wildlife, landscapes, and the traditions of people who live in harmony with nature.
Though I started my career as a mechanical engineer in a thermal power plant, my true calling was always behind the camera. Exploring jungles, trekking across the Himalayas, and observing life in remote villages pushed me to capture the delicate relationship between humans and the wild. That pursuit eventually led me into wildlife photography and filmmaking.
Today, my work revolves around three key paths:
π₯ Filmmaking β Documenting wildlife, communities, and conservation stories with a cinematic lens.
π Travel & Exploration β Immersing myself in diverse landscapes, from high-altitude trails to dense forests, to tell authentic stories of people and places.
π Masterclasses β Sharing my learnings with others who are passionate about photography, filmmaking, and storytelling.
For me, filmmaking is more than visuals β itβs about creating emotional connections. Every project I take on is an attempt to weave together sight, sound, and soul, so the audience feels what I felt while standing in those wild, fleeting moments.
WildTale is not just my portfolio β itβs a reflection of this journey, a space where I share the stories Iβve lived, the lessons Iβve learned, and the voices of the wild that continue to inspire me.
