  • Why don’t we share the landscape with our neighbors who live in the dark?
To minimize human-wildlife conflict in our plateau, we used to share the landscape after sunset. But now, the growing demand for stone and granite has not only destroyed their habitat but also heavily illuminated crushing zones & mining after dark, disrupting their activities.
For decades, we, the people of Purulia, have shared our time and space with the wild. But now, their existence is under threat.
Just like stone and granite, our wild neighbors are also essential to our ecosystem. We must take necessary measures to ensure coexistence.
